Benefits of Membership
Membership provides an opportunity to meet fellow enthusiasts and participate in the events programme. Study tours, lectures, visits, private views and other events are offered exclusively to Society members. Past visits have included special access to less well-known Mackintosh buildings. We are delighted that Mackintosh's last architectural project, 49 Glebe Place in London will be available for members to visit on specially arranged dates.
The Charles Rennie Mackintosh Society publish an annual Journal, and a regular e-newsletter is sent to all our members. As well as providing a useful resource for students and academics, the Journal is also of interest to a wider audience. Reviews of books, exhibitions and events, news on Mackintosh collections and updates on developments/conservation programmes are included along with new research.
We have active groups in Glasgow, London, Port Vendres and Tokyo enabling you to participate in local as well as national Society events.
